Updates: Watch SpaceX launch NRO satellite from KSC and land at Cape Canaveral


Update: LIFTOFF of Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center! SpaceX successfully launched the NROL-108 mission at 9 a.m. Saturday, then returned the booster for a landing at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Full story here.

Follow live as SpaceX targets 9 a.m. Saturday, the opening of a three-hour window, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and national security satellite from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. 

This morning’s mission, labeled NROL-108 for the National Reconnaissance Office, will include a first stage booster landing at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Space Coast residents and spectators should be prepared for triple sonic booms a little over eight minutes after liftoff.
