Pretty Curious – 360° Virtual Reality – STEM Careers of the Future (short)

EDF Energy is using 360° virtual reality immersive experiences to encourage more girls to consider careers in science, technology, engineering and maths. Our film showcases the worlds of three successful women working in some of the most in-demand STEM-related industries. Currently, just 1 in 5 people working in core STEM in the UK, is female, this means there is a pool of undiscovered STEM talent – vital in creating a diverse future workforce. Our 360° virtual reality film will transport you to EDF Energy’s offshore wind farm in Teesside with renewable energy research engineer Claire Canning, to the top of the Shard with structural engineer Roma Agrawal, and to an East London shared workspace where computer coder Claire Mitchell introduces a community of coders that sit behind the tech of daily life.
